River Plate midfielder Exequiel Palacios will reportedly turn down an offer from Real Madrid to join Italian giants Inter Milan in this summer's transfer window.
Palacios, 20, has contributed four goals and seven assists in 47 appearances for River in all competitions since stepping into the Argentine club's first team.
Madrid were believed to be keen on signing the midfielder this summer, but according to Don Balon, Palacios feels that he will be given more chances at Inter and also wants to link up with countryman Lautaro Martinez in Italy.
This season, Palacios has netted once and provided four assists in 14 league appearances for River.
The midfielder has been on the sidelines since the middle of last month, however, and is expected to be out of action until the summer with a fractured fibula.
