Report: Real Madrid agree Martin Odegaard deal

Martin Odegaard will reportedly complete a move to Read Madrid in the coming days after the Spanish giants agreed a deal with Stromsgodset for the midfielder's services.

Real Madrid have reportedly agreed a deal with Stromsgodset for the services of talented youngster Martin Odegaard.

The 16-year-old, linked previously with Liverpool, Bayern Munich and Barcelona, has been closing in on a move to the La Liga giants over the past couple of days after flying to the Spanish capital for key talks.

AS now claims that the Norway international will complete a €4m (£3.1m) move to the Santiago Bernabeu after training with the club's reserve side.

Odegaard, who became the youngest player to feature in the European Championship last year after coming on as a substitute in Norway's victory against Bulgaria at the age of 15, is out of contract at Stromsgodset next season, which explains the cut-price offer.
