Real Madrid are looking to snap up Benfica's teenage forward Jota for the start of next season, according to a report.
Jota finished as top scorer and was named in the team of the tournament after helping Portugal to glory at the Under-19s European Championship last year.
The 19-year-old has since broken into Benfica's first team following some stand-out displays for their reserves side, earning links with a move to a European heavyweight.
Spanish outlet AS suggests that Madrid are among the sides interested in signing Jota, though they have already had one offer knocked back by the Portuguese giants.
Benfica are said to have turned down around £16m, though the youngster has a £26m release clause written in his contract, which the Eagles are trying to raise beyond the £100m mark as part of a new deal.
Jota, touted as a natural successor to Cristiano Ronaldo for the Portugal national side, may be offered back to Benfica by Madrid if it speeds up negotiations.
