Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane is reportedly not giving up on persuading long-serving defender Marcelo to reject a move to Juventus.
The Brazilian left-back is rumoured to be holding out for a switch to the Serie A champions after losing his place to Sergio Reguilon.
Marcelo is believed to have asked president Florentino Perez to grant him an end-of-season exit, but A Bola Brasil reports that the return of Zidane - reappointed by the club on Monday following the sacking of Santiago Solari - may alter the player's stance.
Zidane apparently wants the 30-year-old to be part of his squad for next season and he will sit down with the defender to discuss his future.
Marcelo has spent the last 12 years in the Spanish capital, racking up close to 500 appearances.
