Imanol Agirretxe scores twice as Real Sociedad overcome the challenge of visiting Real Zaragoza.

Three first-half goals helped Real Sociedad take maximum points from their home encounter against Real Zaragoza this evening.

The home side dominated the early exchanges and broke the deadlock in the 18th minute courtesy of Imanol Agirretxe, whose shot beat Roberto in the Zaragoza goal.

Agirretxe's striker parter Carlos Vela doubled Sociedad's advantage just three minutes later when he finished off a passing move.

The victory was sealed six minutes before the break when 25-year-old Agirretxe grabbed his second goal of the match.

Despite continuing to control the fixture after the restart, Sociedad were unable to add to their goalscoring tally.

La Liga's bottom side, Zaragoza, ended the match a man light when Maurizio Lanzaro was handed his second caution in the 83rd minute.
