The agent of Roma goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg has confirmed that Fulham have reached an agreement with the Italian club over the transfer of his client.
The 30-year-old, who came close to joining the Premier League outfit in January, will reportedly sign for a figure of £4m.
"The current employer of the goalkeeper, AS Roma, and Fulham have already reached an agreement on the transfer of Stekelenburg to London," read the statement from Rob Jansen. "Now the club and the player can see it out."
The Dutchman is regarded as one of the most talented goalkeepers in Europe.
