Sevilla attacker Aleix Vidal has revealed his delight after being called into Vicente del Bosque's latest Spain squad.
The 25-year-old, who joined Sevilla from Almeria last summer, was the surprise inclusion in Del Bosque's 23-man squad for La Roja's upcoming games against Costa Rica and Belarus.
Vidal has said that his call-up is down to "hard work and effort" over the course of the season.
"It's a vote of confidence for the hard work and effort I've been making," Vidal has been quoted as saying by AS.
Vidal is currently in Warsaw ahead of Sevilla's Europa League title defence on Wednesday.
