Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino 'hopes' that Harry Kane will be able to play the full match against West Ham United on Saturday.

Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino is 'hopeful' that Harry Kane will be ready to play 90 minutes in Saturday's Premier League clash with West Ham United at White Hart Lane.

The centre-forward made his return from ankle ligament damage in Tottenham's 1-1 draw with London rivals Arsenal before the recent international break.

Kane was then released from the England squad ahead of Tuesday's friendly with Spain after not featuring against Scotland, and Pochettino is confident that the rest will stand the 23-year-old in good stead this weekend.

"We'll see about Harry and whether he is ready to play 90 minutes. The training was good after the international team, but he felt a bit tired today because it was hard training from Monday until today. But yes maybe to play 90 minutes. He's in good condition," Pochettino told reporters.

Contract talks between Kane and Tottenham are believed to have stalled in recent weeks as the striker seeks improved terms.
