Mauricio Pochettino backs Harry Kane to hit 20-goal mark regularly

Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino sees no reason why Harry Kane couldn't become a regular 20-goal-per-season striker for the club.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has backed Harry Kane to surpass the 20-goal mark in a season on a regular basis.

Kane was on the scoresheet once again during his side's 5-3 victory over league leaders Chelsea today, netting twice to make it six goals in his last six games and 17 for the season overall.

Pochettino was keen to focus on the team performance rather any individual, but the Argentine sees no reason why Kane could not become a regular 20-goal-per-season striker.

"Yes, why not? He shows to work hard everyday. We need to recognise the team because the team performance was great and we need to keep this feeling for the next step," he told BBC Sport.

Tottenham's victory saw them climb up to fifth in the Premier League table.
