Real Madrid sound out Tottenham Hotspur's Mauricio Pochettino?

A report in Spain says that Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino is among a list of coaches admired by Real Madrid president Florentino Perez.

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has reportedly added Mauricio Pochettino to a shortlist of potential new managers.

Zinedine Zidane was only appointed to the Bernabeu helm in January, but there have already been suggestions that the Frenchman will be relieved of his duties in the summer.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Perez has been impressed by the work that Pochettino has carried out since he took charge of Tottenham Hotspur in 2014.

However, the report adds that Perez is yet to make an official approach for the Argentine, although initial talks have taken place.

It is also believed that Ernesto Valverde, Unai Emery, Michel and Quique Flores are under consideration should Zidane be moved on.
