Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp has said that defender Michael Dawson is "amazing".
Dawson, who has been sidelined since August after injuring his Achilles tenden, returned to action against Everton this week as the club moved to within three points of first place following a 2-0 win.
"Michael has been out for about four months," Redknapp told Fox Sports.
"He was on the bench for the game against Swansea and only had one day of training. I asked him to just sit on the bench for cover and he said 'no problem' and that's how he is.
"He is an amazing lad. They are the type of lads that make any football club a good club."
Dawson, 28, has made 174 appearances for Spurs in eight seasons at White Hart Lane.
