Harry Redknapp has claimed that he hasn't "even thought about" the vacant managerial position at England following Fabio Capello's resignation.
The Tottenham Hotspur boss has been tipped as the favourite to take the helm following the Italian's departure from the national side yesterday, with less than four months to go until the European Championships.
"I don't know anything about the England job," said Redknapp. "People have been fantastic. Everybody has given me great support [during the tax evasion trial]. It's passed us now and we look forward and to the future.
"I've not even thought about [the England job]. I've got a job to do, we've got a big Saturday [match] for Tottenham so Tottenham is my focus.
"I was surprised [Capello resigned]. I didn't expect that to happen. Tottenham have been fantastic to me so it wouldn't be right to focus on anything else but Tottenham."
Former Premier League managers Rafael Benitez and Jose Mourinho have also been touted as candidates for the England vacancy.
