Tim Sherwood eyes West Bromwich Albion win

New Tottenham boss Tim Sherwood hopes to capitalise on any uncertainty that there may be at managerless West Brom when the two sides meet on Boxing Day.

New Tottenham Hotspur manager Tim Sherwood has outlined his desire to take advantage of the uncertainty surrounding West Bromwich Albion when they face each other on Boxing Day.

The Baggies have been without a permanent manager since sacking Steve Clarke on December 14, with Keith Downing taking care of first-team duties for last weekend's 1-1 draw against Hull City.

Spurs have also suffered from managerial instability since they parted company with Andre Villas-Boas last week, but Sherwood has now been given the job on a full-time basis and hopes to capitalise on any confusion there may be in the opposition dugout on Thursday.

"They've had some great results this season, they have an interim manager at the moment and hopefully that uncertainty can help put us on the right track and we can capitalise on that," Sherwood told the club's official website.

Spurs go into the match sitting seventh in the Premier League table while West Brom are struggling down in 16th place.
