Barcelona and Real Madrid are reportedly both closely monitoring Christian Eriksen's contract situation at Tottenham Hotspur as the Spanish duo eye summer bids.
Eriksen scored his fourth Premier League goal of the 2018-19 campaign in Tottenham's 3-0 win over Cardiff City on New Year's Day.
The attacker is enjoying another impressive season with Spurs, having scored six times and registered nine assists in his 25 matches in all competitions this term.
Eriksen's Tottenham contract will expire at the end of next season, however, and the London club's head coach Mauricio Pochettino recently admitted that he has "no news" on the Dane's future.
According to the Daily Mail, Tottenham are determined to tie Eriksen to a new deal, but Barcelona and Madrid are both keeping an eye on developments surrounding the former Ajax youngster.
Eriksen has scored 62 times and registered 78 assists in 251 appearances for Tottenham since arriving at the Premier League club in the summer of 2013.
