Tottenham Hotspur midfielder David Bentley could be given the chance to revive his career at former club Blackburn Rovers, according to a report.
The 28-year-old has recently returned from a loan spell with Russian side FC Rostov and is believed to be desperate for another short-term move.
According to the Daily Mail, Rovers boss Michael Appleton is interested in bringing Bentley back to Ewood Park, but Reading are also said to be tracking the England international.
Bentley, who played for Blackburn between 2006 and 2008, has also had loan spells with Birmingham City and West Ham United.
