Celtic will reportedly reignite their interest in Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Victor Wanyama at the start of 2020.
The Kenya international was strongly linked with a return to Celtic during the summer transfer window after being deemed surplus to requirements at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The midfielder ultimately remained with Mauricio Pochettino's side beyond the transfer deadline, but he has played just 24 minutes of Premier League football this season.
According to The Times, Wanyama will again be available for transfer in January, and Celtic will make an attempt to land the 28-year-old at the start of 2020.
The Kenyan scored 13 times in 91 appearances for the Hoops between 2011 and 2013 before joining Southampton, where he spent three seasons ahead of a switch to Tottenham.
Wanyama was also strongly linked with a transfer to Club Brugge before the European transfer deadline closed, but the Belgian outfit were ultimately unable to complete a move.
