Crystal Palace are reportedly set to battle Tottenham Hotspur to try and sign Peterborough United defender Ronnie Edwards.
The 19-year-old has been thriving this season in the Championship, playing 30 of Peterborough's 42 games in the league so far.
His performances have helped to gain interest from teams in the Premier League, with both Tottenham and Crystal Palace keeping tabs on him, according to the Daily Mail.
The two teams are set to battle it out to try and secure his signature in the summer transfer window, with the defender currently being valued at £15m.
Palace are hoping that their experiences playing young talent such as Marc Guehi, Conor Gallagher and Tyrick Mitchell will help to give them the edge over Spurs.
The Eagles reportedly see Edwards as someone who could be a part of their defensive setup for the future, if he was to sign for them.
