Jose Mourinho is supposedly keen to reunite with Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg at Roma.
The Denmark international was signed by Mourinho for Spurs in the summer of 2020 and has been an ever-present of the Lilywhites team under the Portuguese, Nuno Espirito Santo and Antonio Conte.
Hojbjerg's deal in North London does not expire until the summer of 2025, with the 26-year-old forming an effective partnership with Rodrigo Bentancur amid Oliver Skipp's injury woes.
Now, Il Messaggero claims that Roma boss Mourinho is keen to try again for Hojbjerg after trying and failing to lure him to Italy last summer.
The report adds that Tottenham would be willing to part ways with Hojbjerg for the right amount of money, and a €40m (£33.6m) has been slapped on the head of the former Southampton man.
Hojbjerg has featured 92 times in all competitions for Spurs since arriving nearly two years ago, registering five goals and nine assists in that time.
