Daniel Levy claims that Tottenham Hotspur have a buy-back clause for Harry Kane following his move to Bayern Munich over the summer.

Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy has revealed that they included a buy-back clause in the deal which saw Harry Kane move to Bayern Munich.

Kane left Spurs after 19 years at the club this summer to join the German giants in a deal worth around £100m.

The England captain has scored four in his first four Bundesliga outings with Bayern, and also found the net for his country against Scotland last week.

Now, Kane and his Bayern teammates are preparing to face one of the clubs who had been heavily linked with him over the past few years - Manchester United.

However, speaking at a fan forum on Tuesday, Levy has revealed that Spurs have the option to buy Kane back in the future.

Levy did not go into any minor details, simply stating: "There is a buy-back clause."

At 30 years of age and entering the final year of his Spurs contract, Kane was sold so the club did not lose him for free next summer.

Kane would go on to sign a four-year deal with the Bavarian club, but said in his farewell message that: "It's not a goodbye, because you never know how things pan out in the future, I'll see you soon."

While his goals will be sorely missed, Spurs have still been flourishing without Kane so far this season.

Under new boss Ange Postecoglou, the side is still unbeaten on the league front, only second to Manchester City after five games.

A very late win over Sheffield United on Saturday - which saw them score 98th and 100th minute goals - was their fourth in a row.

The North London Derby away at Arsenal on Sunday will be arguably their biggest test yet though, given that the Gunners are also on 13 points after four wins and a draw from five games.
