Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola has demanded that the club sign Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane in January or next summer, according to a report.
Kane enjoyed a remarkable breakthrough at Spurs last season, scoring 31 goals in 51 matches in all competitions, being voted the PFA Young Player of the Year and breaking into Roy Hodgson's England squad.
Despite a comparatively slow start to this campaign, a report from Italian publication Calciomercato claims that Guardiola is determined to bring the 22-year-old to the Allianz Arena in the near future.
In Robert Lewandowski, Bayern currently have a striker who has scored 13 goals in his first 10 Bundesliga matches of the season, but the report suggests that Guardiola wants to bring in another of Europe's top scorers last season to compete with the Pole up front.
Kane has scored eight goals in 20 appearances for club and country this season, a total which includes five goals in his last three matches for Spurs.
