Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly stepped up their pursuit of Queens Park Rangers striker Loic Remy.
The Frenchman has impressed this season during a loan stint at Newcastle United, but the forward is widely expected to move on from St James' Park.
According to French website Le10sport, Spurs have opened talks with QPR, but it is believed that Remy is concerned about making the move to White Hart Lane.
The 27-year-old, who has netted 14 goals in 28 appearances, has also been linked to Arsenal after he was spotted at the Emirates watching Arsenal's 1-0 win over West Bromwich Albion on Sunday.
