New Stuttgart signing Mohammed Abdellaoue has insisted that the Bundesliga is the strongest European league following his arrival at the club.
Abdellaoue, who finalised his move from Hannover on Tuesday, said that returning to Europe should be Stuttgart's aim this season.
"I hope we continue to play in Europe and can establish ourselves at the top of the Bundesliga," Bundesliga.de quotes Abdellaoue as saying. "I think that this should be the goal for a big club like VfB.
"The Bundesliga is currently the best league in Europe, the level is very high and a lot of strong players are under contract in Germany.
"The pressure is there every week to play in front of 40,000, 50,000, 60,000 spectators and the atmosphere is great. I am looking forward to continue playing here. For me this move is perfect."
Abdellaoue's former Hannover teammate Konstantin Rausch has also made the move to Stuttgart.
