A knee injury could force Connor Wickham to miss Sunderland's trip to Queens Park Rangers.

Connor Wickham is an injury doubt for Sunderland's trip to Queens Park Rangers tomorrow night.

The 18-year-old landed awkwardly during his side's 1-0 loss to Tottenham Hotspur at the weekend and is currently suffering with fluid on his knee.

However, manager Martin O'Neill should be able to call upon Phil Bardsley and Wes Brown, who missed training yesterday with an illness and knee problem respectively.

The former Manchester United duo are expected to make a full recovery in time for the match at Loftus Road.
