Ki Sung-yueng will be available for Swansea City's league game against Sunderland next weekend, according to boss Garry Monk.
The South Korean international missed his side's 2-0 victory over Newcastle on Saturday after complaining of a hamstring strain on the opening day of the season, but Monk is confident his midfielder will be available for the trip to the North-East.
"It wasn't really [right] to take the risk with him [against Newcastle]," he told reporters. "Of course he's pushing to play, but I think we'll give him that little bit more time. He'll be back in training next week ready for the Sunderland game."
Swansea face the Black Cats, who are bottom of the Premier League table after two games, at the Stadium of Light.
