Swansea City midfielder Leon Britton has claimed that next season's clash against newly-promoted side Cardiff City will be one of the highlights of the campaign.
Britton has insisted that the atmosphere promises to be "electric" when the two sides meet in the Premier League next season.
"We've missed it in the last couple of years," the South Wales Evening Post quotes him as saying.
"It was 10 years without a derby before we played them in the Carling Cup and I remember that atmosphere just being electric. We had a spell of five or six games playing against each other.
"It was great, there were some great wins for us and some heartbreaking defeats. They're great occasions. We all looked for it on the fixture list — the fans, the players and probably the staff of both clubs."
Britton is expected to be fit for pre-season training after undergoing a double hernia operation.
