Good morning all! What do you make of the transfer window? Are you happy with the business that your club has done so far? The biggest stories that we've witnessed at this stage of the window have been Raheem Sterling's switch to Manchester City and the arrival of Bastian Schweinsteiger at Manchester United. The long-running saga involving David de Gea and Real Madrid continues to rumble on, but we'll get a conclusion one way or another by September 1.

Until then, let's focus on some other rumours floating about. Everton are reportedly considering an £8m bid for Manchester United defender Jonny Evans, but not according to manager Roberto Martinez! The Spaniard told the Liverpool Echo in Singapore this morning that there is no truth in the reports.

It appears as though Arsenal's pursuit of Real Madrid forward Karim Benzema is hotting up. The latest reports claim that the Premier League outfit are preparing to launch a £40m bid for the France international.

Rickie Lambert's Liverpool future remains uncertain. With Christian Benteke heavily tipped to join the Reds, there have been suggestions that Lambert will leave his boyhood club this summer. According to The Mirror, West Bromwich Albion are hoping to lure the forward to The Hawthorns.

Los Blancos boss Rafael Benitez has had his say on things, describing the Spanish centre-back as an "enormous professional". Find out what else Benitez had to say right here.

Barcelona have been active of late, too, bringing in Arda Turan from Atletico Madrid. The 28-year-old is not eligible to play until the New Year, however, and Barca presidential candidate Josep Maria Bartomeu admits that a loan spell until then could beckon.

Well it seems as though you can't mention Sergio Ramos without the David de Gea transfer speculation following in close pursuit. Mr. Benitez was inevitably asked about the Spanish shot-stopper during his latest press-conference, but he refused to give anything away.
