Alcacer, Feghouli, Bakkali give Valencia win against Levante

Goals from Paco Alcacer, Sofiane Feghouli and Zakaria Bakkali hand Valencia a 3-0 win over Levante at the Mestalla Stadium.

Goals from Paco Alcacer, Sofiane Feghouli and Zakaria Bakkali have handed Valencia a 3-0 win over Levante at the Mestalla Stadium.

It took the home side 64 minutes to take the lead when Feghouli was brought down in the box and Alcacer finished from the penalty spot.

Dani Parejo came close to doubling the lead with a curling free kick a few minutes later, but Algeria international Feghouli was on hand to score his side's second of the night moments after.

Things went from bad to worse for Levante five minutes after the second goal, when Belgium international Bakkali smashed an unstoppable shot into the back of the net for Los Che's third of the night.

Valencia are now three points behind Celta Vigo, who have a game in hand, but Levante remain in a troubled state at the very bottom of La Liga after their sixth defeat of the season.
