Lyon defender Mouctar Diakhaby has reportedly arrived in Spain to undergo a medical with Valencia.
The 21-year-old, who has previously been linked with a move to Manchester City, has played for France at Under-21 level, and has been in Lyon's first team since 2016.
The centre-back only made 12 Ligue 1 appearances for his French club last term, however, and his future has been called into question over the last few weeks.
According to Plaza Deportiva, Diakhaby arrived in Valencia on Wednesday evening, and will undergo his medical on Thursday afternoon ahead of signing a long-term contract with the former Spanish champions.
Diakhaby will reportedly cost Valencia, who will return to the Champions League next season, in the region of £13m.
