Wales goal hero Hal Robson-Kanu in no rush to find new club

Wales forward Hal Robson-Kanu will wait until after Euro 2016 before making a decision over his club future.

Hal Robson-Kanu has revealed that he has received "offers from around the world" but will wait until after the end of Wales's Euro 2016 campaign before sorting out his club future.

The unattached attacker, who found the net five times in 35 appearances for Reading last season, is without a side after opting to run down his Madejski Stadium contract.

A fine individual goal against Belgium on Friday night, which put the Dragons ahead for the first time in a game that they went on to win 3-1, only helped to strengthen the interest in Robson-Kanu's services.

Speaking to BBC Sport, the 27-year-old said: "There's offers from around the world. I've made no secret of my desire to play in the Premier League and if I decide that's the best place for me then I'll be there. Last season I made a decision to run my contract at Reading down.

"I've been there 12 years, given a lot of service and I felt it was the best decision for myself and career to decide where I go next. Obviously I've been aware of clubs coming in for me in the past, bigger clubs and for whatever reason it didn't happen so I think it's probably one of the best decisions of my life.

"It's funny, I think a lot of people are making a big deal of it. I had offers before the tournament started. Good offers from good, progressive clubs, but I made a decision to wait until after the tournament."

Swansea City are thought to be leading the race for Robson-Kanu's signature, while three other unnamed Premier League clubs are also reportedly interested.
