Romelu Lukaku expects West Bromwich Albion to stay up

Everton striker Romelu Lukaku expects West Bromwich Albion to avoid relegation.

Everton striker Romelu Lukaku believes that West Bromwich Albion will stay up this season.

Lukaku spent last season on loan at The Hawthorns, and speaking after the Blues's 1-1 draw with his former club on Monday evening, the Belgian forward tipped them for safety.

"Tonight they showed very good things and I'm confident they'll be OK," he told Sky Sports News.

"They pressed well on the ball, there was a lot of interaction between the midfielders and the strikers so it was great to see them play in a different way than what they played last year."

Monday night's draw leaves the Baggies 12th in the Premier League, four points above the relegation zone.
