Romelu Lukaku thumps home a header in the 82nd minute to see West Brom turn it around after Norwich had gone ahead in the opening half.

Chelsea loanee Romelu Lukaku bulleted a header home in the 82nd minute to complete West Bromwich Albion's comeback from a goal down against Norwich City this afternoon.

Early on both sides created openings, with Lukaku spurning the best chance by firing against Mark Bunn from a one-on-one opening.

Norwich took the lead soon after on the midway point of the first half, when Robert Snodgrass curled a free kick up and over the wall that Ben Foster could only glove into the net.

The Baggies almost made a instant response but Gareth McAuley couldn't quite bundle Chris Brunt's corner over the line.

Steve Clarke's side did equalise in the 43rd minute when another Brunt corner was met by Jonas Olsson and Bunn could only tip onto the bar, with Gera following up to score West Brom's first goal in four games.

Norwich almost retook the lead nine minutes after the break, but Steve Morison had the ball taken away from him by Gareth McAuley as he was about to pull the trigger.

Clarke brought on Shane Long and Marc-Antoine Fortune to bolster his frontline and the Baggies found a goal with eight minutes left on the clock.

Goran Popov's deep cross picked out Lukaku, who rose above Javier Garrido to thump a header past Bunn.

Defeat for Norwich means that their unbeaten league run comes to an end at 10 games while three points for West Brom sees them rise to sixth. The Baggies are level on 30 points with three other sides - Arsenal, Everton and Spurs.
