Experienced defender Danny Simpson is reportedly training with West Bromwich Albion as he bids to find a new club.
The 32-year-old was released by Leicester City at the end of the 2019-20 campaign having fallen down the pecking order at the King Power Stadium.
According to The Sun, Simpson is currently training with the Baggies, who could decide to sign the defender as a free agent to boost their hopes of mounting a promotion challenge in the Championship.
The right-back made eight first-team appearances for Manchester United before joining Newcastle United in 2010 after a successful loan spell.
In total, Simpson has played 394 games at professional level, including 30 Premier League appearances during the 2015-16 campaign as Leicester famously won the title.
West Brom, meanwhile, have made an unbeaten start to their 2019-20 Championship campaign, with a total of 12 points from six matches leaving them in fourth spot in the table.
