West Bromwich Albion are reportedly lining up a third bid for Middlesbrough captain Ben Gibson.
Gibson only signed a new five-year contract with Middlesbrough last August, and he started all 38 of their Premier League matches during the 2016-17 campaign, in addition to their season opener in the Championship last weekend.
The 24-year-old is widely expected to leave the Riverside Stadium this summer, however, with a number of clubs, including Manchester City, linked with the Englishman.
It is understood that West Brom have already seen two bids - the second of which was £21m - rejected by Middlesbrough, but according to Sky Sports News, the Baggies are determined to seal his signature before the end of this summer's transfer window.
Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur have also both previously been credited with an interest in the centre-back.
