West Ham United boss Sam Allardyce has heaped praise on Bristol City for pushing his side all the way in this afternoon's FA Cup fourth-round tie at Ashton Gate.
The game looked to be heading towards a goalless draw until Diafra Sakho was brought off the bench to head home a winner for the visitors with less than 10 minutes remaining.
On a weekend full of upsets in the world's oldest domestic cup competition, Allardyce was simply pleased to see the Hammers do enough to squeeze into the next round.
"I knew it was going to be a tough game and it was exactly that," he told BBC Sport. "Bristol City showed why they are where they are in the league with their form today.
"We found it difficult to get our passing routine going but when the one chance popped up it was all we needed to get a very important victory. Bearing in mind what has happened this weekend, it is a big result for us."
The draw for the fifth round of the competition takes place on Monday evening.
