Wigan Athletic's Emmerson Boyce is disappointed with the timing of the international break.

Emmerson Boyce has admitted that this month's international break has not arrived at the best of times for Wigan Athletic.

Defender Boyce was part of the Wigan side that threw away the lead on two occasions before drawing 2-2 with Everton at the DW Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Now with a large part of the squad travelling to link up with their international colleagues, 33-year-old Boyce has revealed that there has been no time for the squad to discuss the errors that were committed against the Toffees.

"It's international week now and that means a lot of the lads flying all around the world," Boyce told Click Lancashire.

"That makes it hard to analyse Saturday's game, but we'll get plenty of work done on the training ground and try to put right what went wrong."

The Latics are currently 15th in the Premier League table.
