Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Adam Le Fondre has said that he should have won his side a penalty during the 3-0 victory over Huddersfield Town.
Midway through the second half, Le Fondre went clear on goal before appearing to be hauled down by Huddersfield goalkeeper Jed Steer, but the referee instead booked the 28-year-old for diving.
Steer appeared to be ready to walk after clipping Le Fondre, and the on-loan Cardiff City forward has insisted that the stopper knew that he had committed a foul.
Great performance from the boys! Kmac had the ball on a string!! Re my booking why would I dive when I'm goin to tap the ball in for a goal?
