British driver Lewis Hamilton has insisted that he made the correct decision by turning his back on McLaren to join Mercedes.
The 28-year-old was criticised for the decision, but he believes that his start to the Formula 1 season has fully justified his choice.
"Everyone was saying it was the worst decision I could have possibly made in my life. But definitely, bit by bit, the more and more we impress and improve they have to stand to be corrected," he told reporters at a press conference.
"It was such a big change for me, a big step for me. I think I made the right choice."
Hamilton is currently fourth in the overall rankings.
