Michael Schumacher's Mercedes team will make a decision on the German legend's future within the next six weeks, team principal Ross Brawn has said.
Brawn is hoping to make a decision over Schumacher's future with Mercedes this summer, with his contract coming to an end after the current season.
Quoted by Autosport, Brawn said: "We will make a decision this summer."
"We have not talked in depth about the situation - but we know it is coming and we have to make a decision soon.
"I think in the next six weeks or so we will have to think about what we want to do next year - and that is the primary decision."
Schumacher is currently 13th in the Driver's Championship with 17 points.
