USA's Jessica Vetter "excited" with victory over Finland

Jessica Vetter says that she is overjoyed that the USA got their Winter Olympics campaign off to a winning start against Finland.

USA goaltender Jessica Vetter has said that she is pleased that her team won against Finland in their opening match at the 2014 Winter Olympics.

Katey Stone's side got the better of their European opponents 3-1 in Group A at the Shayba Arena in Sochi on Saturday.

"They're definitely a team you can't look past," she told reporters.

"We knew that coming into here and we were ready to go from the beginning. I'm excited we came away with the win."

The other game in the group on Saturday saw Canada defeat Switzerland 5-0.
