Aston Villa defender Alan Hutton has revealed that goalkeeper Shay Given once put a fish in Fabian Delph's car as a prank.
Hutton and Given are expected to go head to head when Scotland and the Republic of Ireland play in Saturday's Euro 2016 qualifier in Dublin.
While serious matters will be addressed on the pitch this weekend, Hutton has opened up about Given's playful behaviour away from the field.
"Shay's a joker," The Express quotes Hutton as saying. "Some people maybe look at him and think he's the oldest guy in the team and would be serious, but he's 39 going on 12.
"He's always up to something and he's good to have about. We all get on well and the boys know he's a prankster. He wouldn't do it to me though, because he knows I'd get him back.
"His best prank was on Fabian. He did something to Shay's toilet bag so Shay put a fish in his car. Fab went away for the summer and was wondering what the smell was. Then one day he found this fish in his car and realised what Shay had done. He does daft things like that all the time. He's a big kid and likes a joke."
Given has been a Villa player since 2011.
