Leeds United owner Massimo Cellino joins Pigeon Detectives on stage

Leeds United owner Massimo Cellino joins the Pigeon Detectives on stage during the club's Player of the Season awards dinner.

Leeds United owner Massimo Cellino showed off his musical talent by joining the Pigeon Detectives on stage during an end-of-season event.

The Italian, who eventually took control of the Championship outfit following a dispute over his tax evasion conviction, joined the set with his guitar.

Cellino received a round of applause after playing with the band during Leeds' Player of the Year awards following Saturday's 1-1 draw with Derby County at Elland Road.

After Cellino's appearance, the British band wrote on Twitter: "Epic night, it was a pleasure to have the new Leeds United owner join us on stage."

Cellino also visited the band on Wednesday for a "jam session".
