A number of Liverpool fans are reportedly urging their fellow supporters to back plans to have a banner flown over Anfield on Saturday calling for manager Brendan Rodgers to be sacked.
Several supporters have grown unhappy with the Northern Irishman due to the team's form on the pitch, which has resulted in just four wins out of 10 Premier League games.
Last season, the Reds finished just two points behind champions Manchester City, but the club's eight new signings are yet to settle in following the departure of Luis Suarez to Barcelona.
Fans behind a Twitter account named @RodgersOutClub are hoping to have a banner flown over Liverpool's home ground during this weekend's showdown against league leaders Chelsea.
A design of the banner has been produced and it carries the message: "Brendan Rodgers is football genius. Forever in love with Southampton & Swansea's footballers. £215m spent on absolute rubbish. #RodgersOut."
