Manchester City midfielder Samir Nasri has clarified the terms of manager Pep Guardiola's supposed sex ban for the players.
Last month Nasri - currently on loan at Sevilla - claimed that Guardiola had instructed the squad not to have sex in the early hours of the morning in order to avoid "muscular injuries".
However Guardiola went on to dispute the ban, saying that he actively encourages his players to "make sex" with their partners as it will make them "better players".
"The comment was modified," Nasri told Onze Mondial of Guardiola's denial. "He said: 'I have never banned players from having sexual relations.' Yes, that is true. But he told us to do it before midnight.
"He can say what he wants, I know what he told us. I was there. Now, if you ask him: 'Have you banned sex?' It is quite normal that he says no because he never said that. He asked that we do it before midnight."
Nasri has scored twice in nine La Liga appearances for Sevilla since his deadline-day switch from City.
