Wayne Rooney will have to pick up the bill when Rory McIlroy next pays a visit to Manchester.
Manchester United captain Rooney tweeted his support for Scott Quigg ahead of last night's big world title unification fight against Carl Frampton.
In response, the world's number three golfer McIlroy sided with his fellow Northern Irishman Frampton, which resulted in a bet being placed.
Both top fighters mate but @scottquigg for me. How about the loser pays the bill next time your in Manchester? https://t.co/lVCTsClaG8
