Newcastle United midfielder Cheick Tiote has been given a six-month driving ban after a court forgot to issue the punishment during the initial hearing.
The 27-year-old was supposed to be given the ban when he was handed a suspended jail term after admitting to possessing a fake driving licence in October.
However, an oversight was made, resulting in the midfielder having to return to court and receive a six-month ban from the road today, according to the Shields Gazette.
The Ivory Coast international has already clocked up 12 points on his licence.
