Former boxer Yusaf Mack has admitted that he lied about being drugged before performing in a gay porn film.
The 35-year-old American initially claimed that he was slipped a pill before he ws filmed having a threesome with two men.
Mack stated that he travelled to New York to take part in the film for website DawgPound USA, but believed that he would be performing sex acts with women.
However, the retired sportsman, who is engaged to a woman and has 10 children, has now revealed that he is bisexual and took part in the film knowing what would be involved.
Mack released a statement to Black Sports Online saying: "This is an issued public apology from my heart. I was completely aware and fully conscious during the film.
"I did participate in the adult film because at the time I needed money but also because I am a bisexual man. Meaning I enjoy safely being intimate with whomever I choose."
Mack, who was paid $4,500 (£2,939) to take part in the film, came clean after DawgPound USA reportedly threatened to sue over his fabricated story.
