Former footballer Chris Unsworth has alleged that he was raped "between 50 and 100 times" by ex-Crewe Alexandra coach Barry Bennell.
Speaking on Victoria Derbyshire's BBC Two show alongside three other of Bennell's accusers, Unsworth said that Bennell's abuse started when he was nine years old and often involved simultaneous abuse of other children.
"We never spoke to each other about it," he said. "I was raped between 50 and 100 times.
"I knew what I wanted to get [from football], and I thought this is what I had to go through. I knew it was wrong but I just went with it.
"Both my parents have died and that hurts me, not telling them. I don't know if it was a good thing... because they would have blamed themselves".
Several former footballers have come forward with their tales of abuse at the hands of Bennell - currently in jail for other child sex offences - after Andy Woodward became the first to go public last week.
Police are now investigating more than 100 lines of enquiry relating to Bennell and other potential abusers.
