Argentina legend Diego Maradona swaps a shirt and a tennis racquet with former world number one Caroline Wozniacki at the WTA Dubai Championships.

Argentina legend Diego Maradona handed former tennis world number one Caroline Wozniacki a signed football shirt when he met the Dane in Dubai this week.

The 52-year-old was spotted by the court at the WTA Dubai Championships eager to meet Wozniacki, who had a photo taken with him.

While Maradona gave the tennis pro a signed Argentina national shirt, the 22-year-old handed the retired footballer a tennis racquet, according to the Daily Mail.

Maradona, who lives in Dubai as an 'honorary sports ambassador', also met American player Bethanie Mattek-Sands, whom he affectionately kissed on the hand upon meeting.
