A restaurant on Wearside has benefited from a generous tip left by Sunderland chairman Ellis Short.
The American businessman left £1,800 behind for Abdur Rouf's Shagorika restaurant in Seaburn following the Black Cats' 1-0 win over Everton.
"It's not the first time he has come in, and he was happy to be celebrating the win," Rouf told the Sunderland Echo. "The other people who were eating in the restaurant at the time were really pleased he was in, and he actually spoke to many of them.
"Since he has been involved with Sunderland, he has come for a meal here a few times. We are very proud that he comes to our restaurant when he visits the city."
Meanwhile, the Black Cats are six points above the relegation zone with four games left to play.
