Sunderland pair Craig Gardner and Steven Fletcher have teamed up with charity Saving Lives to raise awareness of HIV.
The players will appear in videos, posters and a booklet for the charity, who aim to educate people about HIV and encourage testing.
"Before I got involved with the Saving Lives charity, I had no idea a person could be infected for over 10 years without knowing it," Gardner told the club's official website. "That's staggering.
"For me it's all about education and giving young people the information they need to look after themselves. That's why Saving Lives is so important."
The charity are in association with National HIV Testing Week.
